[IVR 2011] Asahi Kasei demonstrate VirDSE MR technology to let you jump into a Virtual World
Asahi Kasei or AEC was demonstrating at 3D IVR 2011 its latest VirDSE MR technology that let any one wearing one of Canon’s MR system helmets to work into a virtual world and operate virtual equipment.
The goal here is to create/duplicate in an empty space a virtual reproduction of a tool, machinery, building, Airplane, Factory… And let you interact with any part of this virtual equipment or building.
Thanks to AEC technology anyone with 3D CAD files of their project can quickly print huge QR like code that will give you the exact 3D representation at scale 1:1 of your project.
So let’s imagine you are working on a Ship or Airplane, once your work finish and thanks to AEC technology you will have the possibility to get a real life experience and representation of your work without having to build any 1:1 mockups.
Finally thanks to AEC software and its “Magic” wand you will also have the possibility to interact with anything that you built in your CAD project.
