JVC Music to start selling ten new K2HD MASTERING + HQCD titles in Japan next month

K2HD is not really something new and has been introduces several years ago already where for example in 2008 JVC sold three K2HD CD of classical music at around 180,000 Yen each. This technology allow JVC to encode music in 24bit at 100kHz instead of the usual 16bit 44.1kHz of your average CD, and is, according to JVC Music allow you to, if you own a proper Sound system, to get a unique audio experience on any regular CD player.
Anyway if you want to enjoy K2HD experience on something else than Japanese titles of classical music, JVC announced today that it will release 10 new titles in Japan next month at an price ranging between 2,800 to 3,500 yen. Finally, JVC Music also announced that these new K2HD CDs will now combine HQCD or Hi Quality CD tehcnology using a higher-quality polycarbonate in addition of adaptation of silver alloy as the reflective layer to create the K2HD MASTERING + HQCD format in order to further enhanced audio quality.
