[Hands-On] Pentax introduces the world smallest Camera with the Pentax Q
Here it is Pentax new compact Camera, the Pentax Q is now official, at least in Japan. Unlike many other compact camera on the market with the world smallest (98×57.5x31mm for 200g) interchangeable lenses, this new 12.4Mpix Shooter features Pentax Q Mount lens and comes with a new ½.3” backlight CMOS reducing JPEG noise and offering more a more flexible camera capable to shoot great pictures even in low light.
Specification wise, the Pentax Q, built on a full magnesium boy, comes with a 125-6400 ISO speed expendable to ISO 64000, comes support of RAW pictures (12Bit DNG RAW), Shoot Video in both 1080/30p and 720p in H.264, HDR, a 3” HVGA Monitor as well as Pentax SR or Shake Reduction technology and DR II or Dust Removal II technology.
The PentaxQ will be sold in Japan at around 70,000 Yen in its basic package or at 90,000 Yen with a two lens kit
