Hitachi free your mobile devices with G-Connect

Here you are a very interesting piece of hardware the G-connect from Hitachi. Under this elegant and minimalistic white body you will not only find a 500GB external Hard drive but also a compact WiFi router that will give access to the internet to any connected devices once your G-Connect plugged to your network, or used as a stand alone wireless drive for your mobile devices allowing you to access and store any data on its 500GB of storage space.
Only compatible with iOS devices, PCs or MACs, Hitachi’s G-Connect will soon support Android tablets and smartphone in the very near future.
An interesting little devices that would have been even better if it included a small battery allowing on the go access to its data without having to plug-it to something, still Hitachi will give you at least the possibility to power it up via any USB power source like a car adapter for example.
This G-Connect has been announced at 199 USD in North America and will soon be also available in Japan.
