[IVR 2011] JVC show its upcoming compact 3D GY-HMZ1U ProHD in Japan

Announced at NAB 2011 in April JVC’s upcoming compact 3D ProHD version of its consumer GS-TD1, the GY-HMZ1U was on Display today at IVR 2011 in Tokyo Big Sight. The GY-HMZ1U comes unlike its consumer-oriented sibling with XLR microphone inputs and a shotgun microphone holder.
Like the GS-TD1 the GY-HMZ1U features a dual Back-illuminated CMOS Sensor, Falconbird Image Processor, offer both 24p and 60i, comes with a pair of F1.2 HD Lenses with a 5x optical Zoom, 34Mbps recording mode in 3D and 24Mbps in 2D, SDXC support, 80GB of internal memory and a 3D Display.
The GY-HMZ1U will be available later this year in Japan and North America at around $2,500 USD
