Takara Tony Super Control Beyblade – IR Remote Control Beyblades

Tony Super Control Beyblade - IR Remote Control Beyblades

Takara Tony showed its Super Control Beyblade, which goes on sale in mid-July, at the Tokyo International Toy Show 2011.

“With ordinary Beyblades after you launch them all you can do is just watch the battle, but with these, after you launch them you can accelerate, stop and reverse them, controlling them yourself.”

“The controller has an infrared emitter, and the top has an infrared receiver. When the top receives a signal, a motor directly linked to the axis spins in the same or opposite direction of movement to control the top.”

“We want children who love the Beyblade anime and who want to make their Beyblades move like they do in the anime to use it to recreate and enjoy those same moves. We think it will sell well overseas too, not just in Japan.”

Why not sell well in Japan??

“We think it will sell well overseas too, not just in Japan.”

      Difficult grammar … it means:
We think it will sell well in Japan, and overseas as well.

Ah, I misread it, or it was corrected. I thought it said “just not in Japan”.
