Waseda and Phiaro Design P70T Conch land at Tokyo Smart Grid Exhibition

Waseda and Phira Design’s P70T is not a new car per se and has been introduced back in 2009 during the latest Tokyo Motor Show. Still many never heard about this concept and while visit this week Smart Grid Exhibition we could not resist to shoot some picture of it for you.
A pure Show Car or Concept Car the P70T will never come to production but is however fully operational and can be used to commute around.
The P70T comes with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Engine with a Lithium-Ion Batter and offer a maximum power output of 73kw with a 142Nm maximum torque on a AWD Torque Split drive system.
A cute little 3 seater that I would love to see driving around in Tokyo’s area instead of these huge People carrier or other vans that are most of the time empty.
