Electricity-free eco-friendly bamboo speaker for iPhone 4 coming soon

Electricity-free eco-friendly Bamboo speaker for iPhone 4 coming soonThis interesting speaker comes from one of our readers who is trying to get his invention marketed, which uses only the simple beauty of nature, being made from a whole length of bamboo.

iBamboo uses the natural resonance of the bamboo to amplify the sound produced by the iPhone 4′s built-in speaker, making the sound waves move in two directions at once, intensifying the stereo effect created by the iPhone.

The founder, Anatoliy Omelchenko, said that it’s a foot long and only requires a few modifications to make it and is machined, laser-cut, and then finished by hand, allowing for fast, efficient, eco-friendly production.

If you would like to help support the production of this product from this independent New York creator, check out Kickstarter to donate. Donating $25 or more will pre-order you a iBamboo speaker and canvas drawstring protective holder, while the minimum donation is $5, landing you a warm thank you.

I like the idea and simplicity of it, but I have an Android phone, and so do most of my friends.

I like the simplicity of it as well, but I’m an Android user too. I don’t think I could ever go back to using an iPhone. I love my Nexus One and all that the Android community has to offer.

The main problem with this is the iPhone does not produce stereo sound out of it’s sole speaker.
