Midi Music Hats, only for those who can understand Art
Art can be everything and everything can be art! Dump a piece of dog XXX on a white wall and you can call this art regardless of how ridiculous and smelly it could be. So when I stumble upon the Music Hats I just though pretty much the same thing, funny idea horrible design, borderline ridiculous and on top of all not even new!
So what are these Midi Music Hat? Midi Hat are a collaborative musical interface that allows participants to compose music together by touching different parts of your hat or your friend hat with matching LED light to make it look cool…
Designed by Sunny Oh and Anna Obikane these Midi Music Hats are made from wool felt and embedded pressure sensor and with controllers (Speed and Volume) hidden in fuzzy colorful balls.
Still I can’t stop thinking that both Sunny Oh and Anna Obikane just built an an uglier version of an already existing cooler product the Ningengakki from Takara Tomy… But hey who am I to understand art and artists?
