Codemasters hacked too…

BCC brought the matter to light about UK based game developer Codemasters. The personal details of thousands of people have been stolen after a successful hacking attempt to their servers. The enterprise described the data theft as “significant” saying names, addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth were all taken on 3th June.

No need to shiver, unlike Sony, Codemasters said that payment details were not compromised. They also took the compromised website offline as “as soon as the intrusion was detected”.

Just be extra cautious of potential scams, via email, phone, or post that ask you for personal or sensitive information.
Might be just my idea, but doesn’t this event make the name “code masters” look a little bit funny? Oh well, guess it’s all part of the game…  ┐( ̄ー ̄)┌
