The Taiwanese company ECS introduced a new color eBook reader at Computex 2011, the EB-850R. This device comes with an 8-inch (800×600) color resistive touchscreen, is powered by a Wondermedia 8650CPU, comes with 256MB or 512MB of RAM, as well as internal capacity ranging from 2 to 32GB, a MicroSDHC card reader, Wi-Fi BGN, optional 2G/3G and runs on Android 2.2.
The EB-850R supports ePUB, PDF, FB2, TXT, CHM, RTF, as well as JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, MP3, AAC, OGG and WAV audio files.
