[Computex 2011] ACER unveils the TravelMate 8481 housing LG’s Super Thin Display

Today at Computex, ACER introduced a new business oriented notebook with the TravelMate 8481. This new laptop comes fitted with LG’s 14.1-inch Super Thin Bezel Display (1,366×768), making this new laptop one of the slimmest Core i7 notebooks available on the market.

The TravelMate 8481 comes powered by an Intel Sandy Bridge Core i7 CPU alongside an NVIDIA GeForce GT520M, 320GB hard drive, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI, Wi-Fi and up to 13 hours of battery life on a single charge.

    ffs, these panels/bezels/cases are nothing new. Started with the TX/SZ Sony the hardware innovator.. First in LED backlit/ultra thin/semi-flexible LCD panels. First with the Turbo switch option, first with the popular low profile keyboard style (X505).

    Sony needs to get off the bench and back in the game, show these a$$cl0wns how it’s done.

    Oh wait maybe I am a Sony/Vaio fanboy teeehee
