Deal: 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab for $260
If you’ve been in the market for a high quality e-book reader size tablet, today is your lucky day. Over at Woot they’re selling the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet that runs on Wi-Fi and Sprint 3G and comes with 16GB of built-in storage for $260 plus $5 for shipping. Of course this is a refurbished model, but it’s still a great deal since brand new without a contract from Sprint it costs $429.
If you aren’t familiar with the Galaxy Tab 7, it runs Froyo (Android 2.2) and it’s been said that Gingerbread (2.3) should be coming soon as its already hitting some devices in Italy. Although you can always just root it and load up Cyanogenmod 7 on it if you’re up to the challenge, as that’s what I would do. A Honeycomb rom is also in the works over at XDA.
Check out this deal while it lasts!
