I don't understand why its heresy and what the obsession with not having clamshell phones is. I want a clamshell phone for the clear fact that it won't deal random people in my pocket by accident and that it would protect the screen. Also they have clearer keys as they are bigger. Whats the obsession with touchscreen keyboards that aren't responsive?

I'd buy a Sony Ericsson Clamshell in a heart beat if it was an android and had more functionality than my current one. Isn't
that more the point that clamshell died in europe because they didn't put any decent features on them and they all sucked.

We're all losing out in the fact that sharp isn't selling this world wide. I'd switch phones if they did.

Hopefully someone finds a way to unlock it for the United States. And it would be easier too since Android can be rooted for any carrier nowadays.
