“Complexity without real advantages…”? That “complexity” has apparently only resulted in one of the most reliable vehicles around— period. One of – the most fuel efficient vehicles in the U.S. It is one that requires nearly no transmission, or brake maintenance (predictable sarcastic replies aside). And contrary to popular mis-conception is likely to not require much in the way of expense where the battery cells are concerned for almost all owners. It is a great car not because of it’s “green” impact. Many Prius owners buy regardless of so called environmental concerns. For those who plan to own it for much time at all, it is a great car in nearly every measure except for enthusiast driving credentials. Additionally, the “premium” that so many erroneously connect to it over so-called comparable cars is much more minimal that many would believe as they compare the mid-size Prius to compact vehicles that are also less favorably equipped.

Useless… old.. Do you want less pollution? Easy: use a turbo CH4 vehicle. Toyota prius is pure garbage, with a lot of complexity without real advantages.
