Neurowear unveils the “Necomimi”

Neurowear unveils the “Necomimi”

Now I personally have always found Japanese fashion a little strange and not really to my taste but that is coming from someone who dislikes fashion anyway. But I can honestly say that I love these!

Neurowear has unveiled in the last few days a cat ear like hair band called the, “Necomimi”. This gadget/fashion device reads your brain waves and then sends them to the ears which move depending on how you feel – Straight up if you’re concentrating and they fall down if you are relaxed.

You really do have to see it to believe it.

So far Neurowear has not released a price or a date of release but the company has stated that this device will be the first in a new line of fashion/gadget products. I hope they become commercially available and affordable so I can get a pair!

I wonder what would happen if you played with a cat with the, “Necomimi” on your head?

All I can think is while kind of cute, they aren’t likely worth the money they’ll cost. Technology like this isn’t easily mass-produced so it will probably be pricy as hell. Don’t get me wrong, silly as it is it points towards good things in technological development, but let’s be honest, how easy would these break and how many excuses can you make to wear them?
