Sony’s Walkman is not dead! Behold the MWZ-B160 Series!

Sony Europe has introduced yesterday four new Walkman with the MWZ-B160 Series including the 4GB MWZ-B163 and MWZ-B163F as well as the 2GB MWZ-B162 and MWZ-B162F.
Each models comes with a “USB Stick” design and available in five different colors, only support MP3 files and non-DRM WMA ones and offers a “generous” 18h of battery like or 90 minutes of continuous play when charged for only 3 minutes.
Other functions include direct Drag and Drop, Sony’s ZAPPIN features and a one-touch Boost button for rich and deep bass.
Weighing just 28g and less than 10cm long, Walkman® B Series boasts an eye-grabbing two-tone finish in a vivid choice of contrasting colour-ways.
Despite its compact size, easy-to-use Walkman® B Series delivers big, bold, sound by Sony that stands out from the crowd. Whatever your listening tastes, you’ll experience rich Walkman® audio quality with full, deep bass. Push the Bass button for even more low-end power and the colour matching power illuminator pulses in time with the music.
A generous 18 hour* battery life lets you keep listening for longer. Or if you’re in a hurry, plug in your Walkman® for just 3 minutes and get charged up for 90 minutes playback time.
New this year, a detachable clip attaches Walkman® to a belt, bag strap or outside the pocket of your shirt or jeans. It’s a great way to show off your MP3 player’s great looks while you’re out and about.
Loading up Walkman® with your digital music collection is easy. Just connect the player’s built-in USB connector to your PC – then drag and drop files or transfer them via Windows Media® Player 11/12.
ZAPPIN™ song search technology lets you browse quickly through all your music. Just touch the ZAPPIN™ button to preview a short snatch of each track without fiddly searches through menus or playlists.
The new Walkman® NWZ-B160 range of ultra-portable MP3 players is available from June 2011.
