Smart Navi K9, Thinkware first Android 2.2 and Cortex A8 PND

The Cortex A8 is what you can find for example in Apple A4 SoC found in the iPad first generation, and today the Korean company Thinkware announced that this very capable Cortex A8 CPU in its 1GHz version is now implemented on its latest PND the Smart Navi K9. But what makes the Smart Navi K9 very special is that it has been developed as a tablet first with stunning GPS features. Not only the Smart Navi K9 comes with a 1Ghz CPU and 512MB of RAM but it also runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo) making it a true all capable devices beyond the PND basic aspect.
The Smart Navi K9 also features a 9” multitouch screen, a dual SD card slot and comes in a 8GB version or 16GB one sold respectively at around 450,000 and 500,000 Won in Korea.
