The HD-PNT500U2 Series are Buffalo latest external USB 2.0 2.5” HDD featuring the company hybrid impact-proof casing where the company placed energy absorbing frame and material around the external HDD to ensure the best protection possible against shocks. Additionally Buffalo also provides on this drive new Eco Mode system that once turned on (Software base) it will help you to reduce your drive power consumption up to 20% without having any effect of your drive transfer speed.
These HD-PNT500U2 are available in three different colors including Silver, Black and Red as well as in 500GB or 1TB.
