From concept to reality, Minebea’s amazing Cool Leaf keyboard set to land in Japan this May!

March 2010 Minebea’s announced the most amazing keyboard we ever seen, the “Cool Leaf” a unique concept that can be applied to pretty much everything from a regular QWERTY Keyboard to a remote control or a calculator. Futuristic somehow unbelievable, the cool leaf is now… a REALITY!
Indeed Minebea will start selling this unique Cool Leaf Keyboard, a purely flat mirror-like panel keyboard in Japan next May and more exactly Friday May 13 2011 at around 26,000 Yen! Designed so far strictly for Windows and based on the 108 Key Japanese Keyboard layouts, the COOL LEAF comes with a USB connector with a size of 383x17x128mm.
What disappointed that the COOL LEAF don’t support Mac or other Keyboard layout? Don’t worry! Minebea also announced that English US, Gemran, French and Italian Version of the COOL LEAF will comes later this summer (July 2011) and that they are ALSO working on a Mac version.
