Kenwood introduces two new fast in-dash GPS in Japan

Kenwood introduces two new fast in-dash GPS in Japan

Fact : You cannot survive in Japan without a GPS! Reason? There is no damn street name or street numbers in Japan! So either you carry along with you a good old map or a GPS!

Being so, Japan has one of the most advance car GPS I ever had the chance to play with and Today’s new Kenwood ones are no exception! Set to be available around this summer, the MDV-525 and MDV-323 comes with, according to Kenwood, the fastest experience ever! Both models comes with a touchscreen of respectively 7” and 6.1” but features as well as Kenwood new Jet Response Engine improving the operation speed and speeding-up screen switch and map scroll as well as in integrated 16GB SSD on the MDV-525 and 8GB SSD on the MDV-323 and with finally thanks to the S3 Format where S3 stands for Small/Smart/Speedy with an improved compress algorithm built to give even speedier maps delivery.

Other specs on these two models include the usual 1Seg TV tuner, DVD Player as well as USB, SD slot and the support of most common Audio and Video formats.
