CEATEC – 2 new Sony Blu-Ray media recorders

Sony offers 2 new Blu-Ray recorders, including the BDZ-V9 (500GB) and the V7 (250GB), with a Blu-Ray burner and player, a hard disk, and a digital TV tuner. They both record video in 1080i 40Mbps Mpeg-2, and AVC Mpeg-4 and VC-1 SMPTE. They’re also equipped with the D Matrix NR HD for automatic “noise” correction, and support for the PSP to send videos from the hard disk to the PSP.
