IPELA, the new Sony HD video conference system
Wow, the PCS-HG90 with the HD PCA-CHG90 camera is THE ultimate video conference system for all the HD fans out there. The PCS-HG90 is the “large” box on the picture below, which converts your video stream in HD via the H.264 codec at a maximum of 8Mbps and 60 fps. Maximum supported resolution is 1280×720p60 (720p). You can also output this video at 1080i on your screen or TV. The camera has a 1.12Mpix 3CCD sensor. Before you get too excited, the price for a complete set (you need at least 2 of those to communicate) is 33 000 euros!
