Foma M2501, the 3.5G card for your PC

DoCoMo announced yesterday their new HSDPA, W-CDMA, GSM, and GPRS FOMA PCMCIA card, able to reach a theoretical speed of 3.6Mbps. Quite a very good news for mobile Internet users in Japan, but we have a problem with the format of the card: the PCMCIA format is reaching the end of its life, and more and more laptops come equipped with an Xpress Card port that is not compatible with PCMCIA cards. Too bad…
