Vaio F and A upgrade

After upgrading their UX, Sony upgraded their Vaio F with the F TV. This model will be available in 3 different versions. The top of the line model has a digital TV tuner, and a DVD-RW burner with RAM to handle CPRM when burning videos, a T7400 Core 2 Duo, 1GB of RAM (max 2GB), 200GB of hard disk, and an Intel graphic card.

The top of the line Vaio A now has a 2.33GHz T7600 Core 2 Duo, 400GB of hard disk (2x200GB), a GeForce GO 7600 graphic card with 256MB of VRAM, a 17” screen with a resolution of 1920×1200, and a Blu-Ray DVD burner.

    I was scanning the Sony’s for ages, and have been a PC user for ages, but now with the MacBook line and Sony’s equality matching price scheme….those Macs are just looking too good. You can run windows or OS X and you get core 2 duo speed, and all the rest.. Sony is going to lose a lot of PC buyers to Mac. Too bad…

    Right but, until Mac won’t release a full compatible drivers for their “PC”… I may stick to Sony, anyway no supports of HD-DVD or BR
