Samsung to launch two Wi-Fi connected fridges in the USA and Korea

Samsung Korea announced this morning that the company will introduces two new connected Fridges in the USA and later in Korea with a FRD (French Door) mode and SxS (Side by Side) one. These fridges will come with an 8” integrated color touch panel and will be connected to your home network and to the internet via Wi-Fi in order to give you direct access to Twitter, Google, AP, Pandora as well as some very useful apps /services including Epi, Note and your Fridge basic information and weather forecast.
But the most important aspect of these two fridges is their capacity to be connected to the grid (Smart grid) and adapt their power consumption based on their power needs and usage.
