Fujitsu Releases “Raku-Raku” Basic 3 Mobile Phone

Fujitsu today announced that its new Raku-Raku Basic 3 (F-08C) mobile phone for elders will be available in Japan starting April 22.
The new Raku-Raku (meaning “easy-to-use” in Japanese) Basic 3, features a special instructions button that, with a single push, connects customers to a dedicated telephone support center. This support center, which can be accessed free-of-charge, has an expert support staff to guide the user through the mobile phone’s operating procedures and other features.
These other features include a notification service which alerts the user’s family members of the mobile phone’s usage status, a voice delivery service for users who have difficulty writing e-mails using the keypad, and a Smart Camera and software, which makes it easier for elders to shoot pictures.
This new Raku-Raku 3 comes with a 2.8 WQVGA (240×400) screen and a 5.1Mpix CMOS sensor for photos.
