A keyboard with cogs

Elecom announced today a new keyboard which uses a rather particular system for its keys. According to Elecom, this system provides a better typing experience and increases the lifespan of the keyboard. Wherever you press on a key, the keyboard will respond equally.

    So if you press one corner, the gears will transfer the motion to the other corners.
    I don’t see any advantage above current keyboards until I feel it myself.
    But what about hair and dust? Are they stainless?
