HDTV: Sony Dealer Convention 2006, HDD-BD Burner?

The Sony Dealer Convention 2006 was held today in Shinagawa. This is a major exhibition where all the latest Sony products announced officially were available for the professionals and journalists to see.

Everything we could see today had to do with a HD product. Being a leader of the Blu-Ray technology, Sony made us understand that anything HD will mean Sony. Among the toys presented, I stopped by the latest HD camera, the HDR-FX7, which will receive a 60GB hard disk in its pro version. The camera is quite neat and we requested a sample for testing… we’ll have to wait. I also liked the HDPS-L1, to view pictures on a TV. Again, according to the technician who demoed the product, we’ll have to wait, as it can’t display RAW format pictures issued by competitive products.

By the way he saw a kind of funny… BD-HDD burner… more info soon?

I took a short video. Sorry if the camera moves too much, I didn’t think it was necessary to bring my tripod… my mistake!
