We could have, if some GOP governors weren’t in a race to decline the Federal Government’s funds for high speed rail. Ohio and Wisconsin are the 2 that I know of for sure…
Though – they weren’t planning Shinkansen speeds.

Impressive, very well announced where the nozomi stops, looks like a very comfy ride.
Very nice to see how clean the stations are.. no chewing gum on the pavement, no tiles that are cracked or came loose, .. the service on the train itself is also noteworthy to see. I don’t know where I could find something similar like this in Belgium, France or the UK..

Thank you for sharing this shinkansen video!

Unfortunately, the Vimeo website keeps saying “Permission Denied: This video cannot be downloaded anymore today.”
Do they impose a daily download limit or something?

I’ll try again tomorrow….
