In Bug We Trust!

Dear reader,

You probably have noticed AKIHABARA NEWS received a small facelift, but also some technical changes. We now have a new SERVER with a 3.2GHz DUAL XEON and 6BG of RAM, more bandwidth, we added links to DIGG and DEL.ICIO.US, as well as a new system to leave comments for the news section.

Before telling you more about it, please know the comment system is currently OFF; it just doesn’t work because of some stupid SMTP problem on the server. As you also have noticed, you now have to validate every message with a valid email address. Don’t worry, we don’t keep nor display your email address, it is just used to check whether you’re human or a spam bot. Once this system will be operational, you will be invited to validate your comment manually with the email you will receive from us.

DIGG and DEL.ICIO.US

Even if these services are in English only, it is important for you and us that you use them, and particularly DIGG, which is I think revolutionizing the way information is shared. I am a DIGG addict and I use their RSS feeds EVERY SINGLE DAY..! So, promoting AKIHABARA NEWS with DIGG is a simple way to thank us for the time we spend each day posting news for you.

That concludes what I had to say today. Thank you, we look forward to hear from you soon!
