I was hoping it would allow the iPhone or iPad to &quot;host&quot; USB, letting one connect a thumb drive or maybe other peripherals.  Specs say only &quot;compatible digital camera[s]&quot; and &quot;There is no mass storage.  USB mode is not recognized when connected to other devices and digital cameras.&quot;

Well, I suppose HDMI and *limited* hosting at approximately 74 USD is still kinda cool.]]></description>
