Sony introduces Professional Grade NEX Camcorder the NEX-FS100JK
Thank you Sony for this awesome news! We were already impressed by Sony’s NEX-VG10 Camera video quality but slightly disappointed by its handling, and today, Sony Japan made the impossible by introducing a Professional version of the NEX-VG10 with the NEX-FS100JK!
This NEX-FS100JK is in fact a Super 35mm Camcorder featuring Sony’s Exmor Super35 CMOS and compatible with Sony’s NEX Mount. Belonging to the NXCAM Family the NEX-FS100JK record Full HD Video in 60p in AVCHD at 28Mbps as well as SD contents in Mpeg-2. All video are stored on SDXC, SDHC, SD Cards as well as Memory Stick PRO Duo Class 4 Cards. Being a professional Camera, the NEX-FS100JK includes an HS-SDI out as well as HDMI and XLR.
The good news finally is that this camera is not “THAT” expensive and will be sold in Japan at around 690,000 Yen. Good lord I can’t wait to get my hands on this little baby as soon as it will be released in Japan in the second quarter of 2011.
