NEC updates its LaVie notebook range

So after the regular PC’s, here are the new A, L and C LaVie notebooks from NEC.

Let’s start with the biggest model, the C. This desktop replacement has a Core 2 Duo T5600 (1.83GHz) CPU, a Mobility Radeon X1600, 2 80GB HDD’s in RAID 0 and a 15.4″ screen with a resolution of 1280×800. The notebook measures 374x292x45mm, weighs 4.3kg and has a ridiculous battery life of 1.7 hours.

More 15.4″ notebooks with this L, available in multiple configurations. The high-end model has a Core Duo T2300E CPU, an ATI Radeon Xpress 1250, 1GB of RAM (2.5GB max), a DVD multi drive and 100GB of HDD space.





The last model is the A. the design remains the same as the previous versions, but a 1Seg (DMB like) TV tuner is added. The screen is still a 12.1″ panel and it still has the Pentium M 773 and the DVD multi drive under the bonnet. It measures 304x211x40mm and weighs 1.6kg.
