I must admit that I am quite of a curious guy in general, and when one of my gear happens to die, from either natural causes or due to some random accident, I always find time to open it up and check what was hiding beneath its plastic or metallic case.
As a video game freak, I also happen to own several working and some non-working retro gaming consoles, and today for an ongoing project, I decided that it was about time to check what Nintendo was hiding in its Super Famicom (Super Nintendo) that just happened to die on me last year. Since I am sure that many of you are as curious as I am, I decided to take some pictures of my dead Super Famicom innards and share them with you. Be careful, some of the shots below are not for the faint-hearted.
