Yamaha brings its Black NPS2000 Network Player back to Japan

Yamaha’s NPS2000 is the holy grail of network players. It uses the company experience to bring the sharpest audio possible to anyone who owns a huge digital music library either stored on a PC, iTunes Server, a NAS or any networked storage you may have with WAV/FLAC/MP3/WMA/AAC files in it. Initially introduced in Japan and brought Europe last October, the NPS2000 is now available in Japan in one more color: Black.
Launched in Europe in both black and silver, Japanese audio enthusiasts had to wait several months to finally get their hands on a black version of what is among the best network player available on the market.
The bad news is the price. The black version, NP-S2000(B), sells for ¥208,950 in Japan while the UK version is ¥22,000 cheaper at £1399 (based on today’s exchange rate).
