Yamaha releases in Japan Voice Masking VSP-1 System to maximize privacy

Based on the simple yet effective Sound Wall concept where a sound/tune will cover another one, the VSP-1 is a little Speaker like device that will mask your conversation in public areas. Made to accommodate customers and increase privacy in areas like post or banks for example, the VSP-1 succeed in certain case to mask people’s conversation up to 89% while the lowest result achieved was around 48%.
Available with 8 different sounds made to cover your conversation (Forest, River, Beach…) the VSP-1 can be arranged in different configuration and either mounted alone or in-group. Finally, Yamaha is expecting to launch its VSP-1 within April this year at around 105,000 Yen.
