HDD Madness, Samsung reaches 1TB per disk platter!

Don’t you look ridiculous with your shiny new 3TB HDD you just bought since Samsung has apparently succeed to reach the 1TB mark per disk platter? According to a German newspaper and kindly reported by Electronista, Samsung has finally succeed to building a 4TB HDD (1TB per platter) that will come on the company SpinPoint EcoGreen series with 32MB of Cache, a 5,400rpm speed and 6GBps SATA. No ideas when this drive will be available and how much it will cost, but the future is bright my friend!
