Panasonic unveil the “Let’s Chat” pad for people with language disabilities

Let’s face it, we, healthy people, are very lucky and tends to forget how simple things of life can become impossible to overcomes for many other people suffering from any kind of disabilities. This is why I am glad to report that Panasonic is working hard to make life easier for people suffering from language disabilities thanks to their new “Let’s Chat” Pad also known as EJ-KP01NP.
Build to let people communicate with their surrounding, the Let’s Chat comes with touch keyboard with swappable keyboard layout and that will automatically translate live what people are typing on it, as well as memories up to 62 different kind a different sentences in order to maximize anyone communication efficiency and to make things even more “enjoyable”, the Let’s Chat comes with a TV remote control functions as well as an emergency buzzer if something wrong may happen to its owner.
The Let’s Chat Pad will be available in Japan starting from April 2011 at around 168,000 Yen.
