Let’s Visit Tokyo – Rimonya park

Another day, another Park! Today we will walk alongside an artificial pound of the Rimonya park located just a few minutes away by walk from Gakugei-daigaku train station. Here as well there is nothing really special about this place but I like the fact that you can rent a small boat for a couple of minutes and take a rest in the middle of this artificial pound and get a tan in the summer. If you are more of a “Spiritual” person you can always pray at Rimonya’s temple built on a fake island in the middle of our little pound.
Once again, nothing really amazing here, but I love the idea of an “island” of water lost in the middle of huge patch of houses and other buildings, Rimonay park is almost surrealist on so many ways!
