[CEBIT 2011] Samya, a big player in ecological & solar powered supplies

Solar cell panels and battery packs might not strike you as a new technology or original, but they are important technologies which are getting improvements every year. One of these manufacturers present at CeBIT, was the Taiwanese based Samya. As a global provider of power accessories, Samya helps the IT and Telecom industry to provide more portable and cordless products with convenient and cost-efficient power solutions.
This CeBIT they showcased some brand new products (still concepts, but ready for future mass production) who focus on being as eco-friendly as it gets. From solar-pads who can recharge cellphones up to notebooks, coming both in small & medium edition with attached battery to save the charge, up to foldable solar pads who can be connected to an external rechargeable storage medium or notebook, cellphone,…
Also on show were some newly developed pocket power-banks for smart/cellphones, a range of rechargeable batteries and a whole set of convertors to connect their solar pads to most common devices. Their solar pads will be marketed under the name “Enerpad” portable power.
Still no word on pricing or availability, nor any technical specifications to be found on the web.
