[CEBIT 2011] Xtreamer Ultra: Crisp and vivid Bluray/MKV/AVI Video

At CeBit you will run into several exhibitors about whom you have hardly even heard about. At least not, when you are not a hardcore tech geek only interested in the latest and greatest.  While we wandered around in the famous Hall 17 with consumer electronics, we met with Xstreamer, a company that manufactures HTPCs. We were impressed with their media players. The images were crisp and extremely vivid.

The best part of the players were that they supported virtually EVERY codec present + the Xtreamer products are future proof in the sense that in case there might be a new codec, it would be peanuts to update it through firmware updates.

All new Xtreamer products supports Full HD, Dolby Digital, DTS  and even Dolby TrueHD which is impressive all by itself.

Their flagship product is the Xtreamer Ultra and packs a punch at an affordable pricetag.

Does look like a good media player but the crisp and vividness has more to do with the source video.

yes true, this products works best with HQ MKV/Blurays. A low quality AVI will look sh*t on every media player :-)
