Hitachi presents 2 new 37″ HD-Ready LCD TV’s (Earth to Hitachi, AkihabaraNews geeks only want Full HD) that have a IPSx panel that offers a brightness of 500cd/m2. The sets adopt the high-end video decoder of the Wooo9000 series that offer a great image quality (according to the manufacturer anyway). Other interesting feature is that you can buy a set with an optional 250Gb HDD integrated into the set, and on this HDD, you can record 16 hours of footage in MPEG-2 TS.
