NTT to fight calories one picture at a time!

In an effort to keep the world as fit as possible, NTT Communication and Food.log Inc has started to run a trial service of a cloud based mobile health support service in Japan. Just install a dedicated software on your smartphone running at least Android 2.1 or iOS 4.0 or any PC, take a picture of your meal and send it to Ntt’s cloud service names “Health Enhancement Assist Service” and “voila” you will get a quick estimation of how much calories are hiding in your plate.
Still in trial phase this service may not always be extremely accurate, still it will give you a good estimation of what’s being all this yummy things you may eat, and in order to make things even more “appealing” the Android and iOS application will also include a pedometer, some exercise advises and even receipts. Now the only things stopping you from getting in shape is…. YOU!
