Olympus adds two new Linear PCM Recorders to its catalog in Japan

Yesterday Olympus has introduces two new Linear PCM Voice Recorder in Japan with the LS-7 and DS-800. The first model comes with a 24bit/96kHz Linear PCM (WAV) recording mode as well as Olympus DVM technology allowing you to fine tune your recording direction as well as also supporting WMA and MP3 when recording. The LS-7 comes with 4GB of internal memory, support of microSD/SDHC Cards and require just two AAA batteries.
The second model, the DS-800 offer comes with a 16bit/48kHz Linear PCM (WAV) recording mode, microSD/SDHC, 4GB of internal memory, can record in WMA or MP3 but does not comes with Olympus DVM Technology.
Available in Japan starting next month, these new PCM Linear Recorders will cost respectively around 24,800 and 22,8000 Yen each.
