Sigma announced the DP2x in Japan

Sigma Photo as introduced this morning a new version of its fantastic DP2, the DP2x. This model come with a 14Mpix FOVEON X3 direct image sensor comes with all features of the DP2 as well as a new high speed Auto Focus or AFE (Analog Front End) and a new AF algorithm for faster and better shots.
