NEC announces its new range of Sandy Bridge powered Desktop in Japan

It seems that NEC doesn’t care much about Intel’s announcement and discovery about its Sandy Bridge chipset design flow and introduced today its new line-up of ValueStar Desktop in Japan. Still even if Intel’s announcement may be a little worrisome, we are sure that both companies will handle this problem smoothly for all of us.

Today’s announcement includes two All-In-One desktop series with the ValueStar W and ValueStar N as well as your good old slim tower like ValueStar L

ValueStar W

This new ValueStar W comes in five different packages with the VW970/DS, VW770/DS6B, DS6R, DS6W and DS6C.
The High-end version the VW970/DS comes with a 23” Full HD 3D Monitor, a GeForce GT425M with 1GB of VRAM, a Blu-Ray Disc Drive, a Digital TV Tuner, 8GB of RAM, a 2TB HDD, USB 3.0 and a Core i7-2620CPU.

The other models, the VW770/DS6B, DS6R, DS6W and DS6C are powered with a less powerful but still capable Core i5-2410M CPU, 8GB of RAM, a 1.5TB HDD as well as a 23” Full HD Monitor and a Digital TV Tuner.

ValueStar N

Like the ValueStar W, the ValueStar N comes in different package with the High-end version the VN790/DS and its 20” 3D Monitor (1600×900), Intel Core i5-2410M, 1.5TB of HDD, 4GB of RAM and a Digital TV Tuner. Other models come without 3D and even a Celeon P4600CPU.

ValueStar L

Unlike the two previous ValueStar, the ValueStar L comes with a slim tower and separate 23” LCD Monitor. Here as well you will find on the High-end model a 3D monitor with the choice of a Core i7-2600S or Core i5-2400S and with 8GB or RAM.
