Today at EV Expo 2011 we had the chance to stumble upon Meguru, the first ever EV (electric vehicle) rickshaw. Based on the Japanese traditional rickshaw design using bamboo and washi paper the Meguru comes with a compact eclectic engine and battery giving enough juice for a 40km range at a 40km/h maximum speed.
Available for sale at around 100,000 Yen, the Meguru is not just a show car but a finish product that you can get right now.
