When you first think about Kenwood, the first thing that may came to your mind may be fare from being a DAP (Mp3 player), and despite the lack of line-up update, Kenwood may have one of the best Mp3 player ever made in Japan with the Media Keg Series, well at least for people who takes music and sound seriously.

Today out of nowhere, Kenwood announced its latest DAP, the MG-G508, a really capable Mp3 player that for once will also be available in English and Chinese, as well as Japanese of course.
With 8GB of internal memory, the MG-G508 comes with support of MP3 files with a CBR or VBR up to 320kbps, WMA files with a CBR of 320Kbps and a VBR or 355kbps as well as AAC up to 320Kbsp (CBR / VBR).
Only compatible with Audio files, the MG-G508 does not support any kind of video but comes however with JPEG and BMP file support. In just 46.5×98.5×10.5mm and for 45g, the MG-G508 offers a 2x7mW (16Ω) stereo output and comes with many audio preset.
