Gizmodo reported earlier via Wired Italy that Daiwa Lease is working on a post-disaster self-installing self-sufficient house. Daiwa Lease is part of the Daiwa House group, Japan’s largest homebuilder, specializing in prefabricated houses. Just check the video, personally I must admit I find it quite hilarious. And the incredible part is, since it’s Daiwa we’re talking about, the project might very well succeed.
